STAMPEDE PERFORMANCE.

Brisbane’s premier facility for Osteopathy, Exercise Rehab & Powerlifting Coaching.

RESTORE MOVEMENT.

BUILD STRENGTH.

PERFORM BETTER.

LIVE LONGER.

You are unique.
So why settle for generic, one-size-fits-all healthcare?

At Stampede Performance, we offer more than just treatment.

We combine clinical reasoning & osteopathy with strength coaching principles to create resilient, high-performing bodies - not short-term fixes.

  • Longer-than-average appointments so you’re never rushed.

  • Clear explanations and a plan you understand.

  • Strategies to help you manage your own body - not depend on us forever.

  • Individualised rehab and gym programs designed by an osteopath who understands strength training of all levels.

  • A long-term approach that supports you from pain and injury → to strength → to lifelong performance.

Our goal is simple:
Help you move well, train hard, and keep doing what you love for decades.

OSTEOPATHY.

Pain, stiffness, or injury can stop you training, competing, or even enjoying everyday life.

Our osteopathy blends hands-on care, movement assessment, and progressive exercise rehabilitation to help you recover properly - and reduce the chance of the problem returning.

Whether you’re dealing with a flare-up or something that’s been hanging around for years, we’ll build you a clear pathway back to confident movement.

  • Less confusion.

  • More direction.

  • Better results.

POWERLIFTING COACHING.

Getting stronger is simple.
Getting stronger while staying healthy is where coaching matters.

We provide structured, individualised programming for lifters who want to build serious strength with a smart long-term approach.

Experience, gender, age… it doesn’t matter - we’ve worked with clients of all demographics. From coaching lifters who are absolute beginners to some of Australia’s most elite, junior lifters in their early teens to master’s pushing into their 60’s.

Our background in osteopathy means your training considers technique, recovery, injury history, and workload - so progress isn’t constantly interrupted by setbacks.

Whether you’re chasing your first competition or your next PB, we help you train with intent and confidence.

  • In simple terms, Osteopathy is often considered a holistic hybrid of physiotherapy and chiropractic techniques, aimed at improving the overall health and well-being of clients.

We utilise a range of manual therapy techniques like soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation, along with exercise prescription and potentially some manipulations to achieve a positive improvement in pain levels and/or mobility to empower you to restart your fitness goals.

Our goal is to help reduce or even eliminate the symptoms of pain you’re experiencing, while also discovering the causes and create a plan to change those potential factors in your life.

Our approach is non-invasive, encourages drug-free healing where possible and empathetic, while remaining result driven.

  • Most osteopathy sessions will follow a similar order of events:

    • Introduction

    • Detailed personal history of health, injury and potential factors contributing to pain.

    • Goal setting

    • Musculoskeletal assessments (testing your available movement)

    • Proposed treatment plan with provisional diagnosis

    • Hands-on treatment

    • Exercise prescription

  • Many people ask about what an osteopath does, how is it different to physiotherapy and/or chiropractic care… and so many people can’t give a proper answer!

    The overly simplified answer is:

    • Physiotherapists focus on rehabilitation through exercises and modalities, addressing specific injuries or conditions.

    • Chiropractors primarily adjust (‘Crack’) the spine to enhance nervous system function, often focusing on musculoskeletal issues.

    • Osteopaths use manual techniques like massage and manipulations, to restore overall body function, emphasising holistic health and treating the cause, not the symptom. Some people therefore like to say that osteopathy is similar to a combination of both chiropractic and physiotherapy.

While all aim for pain relief and improved function, the methods and philosophies differ not just amongst professions but even the professionals who deliver it, offering diverse options for patients seeking care.

  • Many osteopaths overly rely on purely hands-on treatment to address pains and discomforts and forget that health and healing are multi-factorial and can be changed through multiple means simultaneously.

Here at Stampede Performance, we pride ourselves on:

    • Using manual hands-on techniques like massage, stretching, manipulations (‘cracking’) and occasionally dry-needling to achieve short term improvements in pain and mobility.

    • Employing multiple forms of exercise rehabilitation to assist in improving the long term strength, mobility and function of the musculoskeletal system.

    • Communicating openly, truthfully and empathetically about options for your recovery

    • Passionately listen and formulate strategies to assist you in best achieving your personal goals.

    • ALWAYS putting your health and well-being above personal profit or gain.

  • When created in 2022, Stampede Performance was originally named ‘Bison Osteo’, and was named after the nickname of our principal osteopath, Isaiah.

The nickname ‘Bison’ came from two of his basketball coaches in 2008.
    Verbatim, this was their reasoning:

‘Would have been late 2008 I reckon, you were just a bloody brute and built like a bison so we rolled with it… didn’t think it would stick for 15+ years.’

When we moved to Rocklea in 2026, we decided it was time to change our name to something powerful that inspired people to take their health seriously like an athlete takes care of their performance… while keeping with this bison theme.

Bison can weigh up to 430kg-1000kg, are able to run up to 55km/hour, can jump and turn almost as quickly as deer can, while also being able to swim with ease. Despite their size, they are extremely athletic, strong and durable…

    Athletic. Strong. Durable.

These qualities are things we associate with the ‘fittest’ and ‘healthiest’ humans, yet they are remarkably simple characteristics to possess given discipline and commitment.

The goal of ‘Stampede Performance’ is to empower and encourage people to become the most athletic, strong and durable versions of themselves, simply for the purpose of ‘feeling better’ and ‘moving for longer’, to help unlock the the quality of life you want and deserve.

However to be clear - I do not perform osteopathy on bisons, nor are there any bison for you to pat and play with at our sessions.

  • Everyone is different in their injury presentation, recovery and wants/goals going forward regarding their performance and improvement.

Sometimes we can get lucky and see dramatic improvement early, sometimes we need several weeks of dedicated rehabilitation before we see results.

    However, our promise is this:

We will NEVER book unnecessary appointments that cost you money and don’t provide value.

We pride ourselves on getting improvements out of our clients, and therefore pride ourselves on getting you to a point where you don’t need to rebook back in.

  • Absolutely 100%

We see clients from all walks of life, all ages and backgrounds.

Although we operate out of a gym and have a large focus on exercise rehabilitation, we will never force you to do anything you don’t want to.

We might try and show you the large amount of health benefits involved with strength training over time… but never will we make you train in a way you don’t enjoy.

  • The true answer is: maybe.

It depends quite varyingly depending on your injury and the reasons why your injury started.

However, irrespective of the type of injury, the best long term results for almost all injuries include increased physical capacity in the form of strength training and aerobic exercise.

So if you’re happy with slower, potentially ‘half’ results… yes we might be able to help with no rehab.

But if you truly want to see lasting change, you will need to commit to the rehab.
